Recently, the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) issued guidelines on employee severance agreements: “Understanding Waivers of Discrimination Claims in Employee Severance Agreements” (http://www.eeoc.gov/policy/docs/qanda_severance-agreements.html).
